It seems I’m recovering from what appears to be my second time with a common cold as a carnivore!
So if the carnivore diet’s so healthy, why am I sick? First of all, I used to get sick several times every single year ― not once every two years. That actually counts as tremendous progress!
More importantly, both illnesses came after sleep deprivation and alcohol consumption. This time, I sprinkled some stress on top of that toxic stew. No wonder I came down with the sniffles!
But how am I recovering? Simple: sleep, supplements, and intermittent fasting. The supplements include grass-fed beef liver from Optimal Carnivore, wild-caught fish eggs from Ancestral Supplements, and canned cod liver. For an even bigger boost, I’ve added zinc, vitamin C, and iodine.
However, I’ve also been using cayenne pepper, black pepper, garlic, and ginger. These plant medicines clear my sinuses and have antimicrobial properties that could potentially help me to recover faster.
That’s right: I’m a carnivore who believes in plant medicine, and have always said so! But remember, it’s even better to maintain a healthy lifestyle and avoid getting sick in the first place. So I’m happy to set an example ― on both sides!

Climate Change, Public Health, and the Future of Meat

The United States government is officially treating climate change as a public health issue ― and that’s a bad thing. The Department of Health and Human Services has established an Office of Climate Change and Health Equity. Their goal: to set policies, regulations, and laws that meet the standards of misinformed environmentalists.
With “experts” claiming that meat harms human and environmental health, this has implications for the future of animal-based lifestyles.
More and more personal freedoms are being considered an unacceptable risk to others’ health and safety. Under national policies shaped by an anti-meat agenda, that would include a carnivore diet ― or any meat eating.
Will we lose the freedom that allowed us to find health by contradicting The Official Science™? It’s important to ask these questions while we still can!

Right now, there is nothing more important than the human right to individual liberty. While this comes with responsibilities, these duties include our obligation to defend that very freedom!
A foundation of natural-born liberty is our ultimate defense against the ever-encroaching tyranny of an opportunistic predator class.
This tension is as ancient as civilization itself. So is slavery, which is the natural outcome of submission.
Therefore, there is never a good reason to give up our natural-born freedoms.

Follow your conscience to the edge of the abyss, and it'll carry you over the worst of what you fear. You might still have to go through it, but at least you'll have the strength of being rooted your truth.
It is not just your right, but your responsibility to live from your innermost heart as you help to shape this universe with the rest of us.
